has anyone tried dating sites after a divorce

i would be interested to know if there are any happy endings with online sites, i have looked on uniform dating, but is there anyone that would be interested in a young looking 38 yr old with one child.

Have you tried any sites specifically targeted at single parents? I met my now DH on the site parents already. Been married 5 years now and have 2 dc's together. Good luck. :)

Lots of people on places like match etc are separated/divorced. I know of several very successful stories among friends and immediate circle of neighbours/friends of friends etc including a number of marriages. Eharmony seems a good one. I get the impression the more complicated it is and the fact you have to pay possibly puts off the losers a bit more! And there are many of them to sift through to get to the good ones but they are definitely there!

There is the dating thread no 8 for those on dating sites, its called close encounters of the intimate kind. There is POF.CO.UK and OKCUPID.COM, the later is imo the better of the two and free!

my Friend (late 50's) met his lovely new dp (mid 50's) on Guardian Soul mates after his marriage ended (wife left him for OM). His adult dds wrote his profile - maybe that's the key Wink. She was the first person he met, no great WOW at the time, he then met quite a few others as did she, but they stayed in touch and met for coffee a few times and the WOW happened later Grin
