I ate the rest of my kebab at 6.30 ish on Sunday morning. A scotch egg is more like breakfast with egg and sausage.....

Did I meet you yesterday? Does your DH also eat pork pie for Christmas breakfast?

Egg and sausage seems a perfectly reasonable breakfast. 7:45 is a ridiculous time to be up on a Sunday though.

Well it could turn into one if it turned out to be the OP's own Scotch egg that she was saving for some particular purpose. Or worse, the DC's.

Waitingforme - I used to know a family that are pork pie and tomatoes for Christmas day breakfast but the dad was from melton mowbray so I assumed it was a regional thing.

if we had had a pork pie in, he would have eaten it. luckily for all, none in the fridge.
