Last night me and DP were having a bit of foreplay but I couldn't fully get into it IYKWIM and was too 'dry' for him to enter me.
Sorry I feel really weird posting about this but it's never happened before and I'm worried it means I don't fancy DP anymore or that I'm broken!

It's simply the case of hormones in all probability, just use lube and take a bit more time with foreplay, lube will make things feel much nicer too. Was it a couple of days after your period had finished by any chance?

I haven't had a lube loving thread in aaaages. Grin
Durex aloe vera lube is lovely, even tastes nice.

KissMyA · 14/12/2011 08:12

This happens at certain points in your cycle. Usually just after your period. Invest in some lube! Durex very cherry is good

Has anyone tried the passionfruit flavour? Sounds yum

MudAndGlitter · 14/12/2011 08:14

Oh I came off on Saturday I didn't know that made a difference! Blush
Thank you! I'll try lube

I have this issue about 50% of the time, now that I am a year post menopause. I just ordered something called astroglide, after alot of searching of mumsnet old threads.

MudAndGlitter · 14/12/2011 08:32

I've had it before but at the end of a relationship where I was losing interest which I made the mistake of telling DP once. He did look a bit worried!

fiventhree if this is a big problem see your dr for local HRT- honestly, it does work! You need Ovesten cream or Vagifem pessaries. it's safe and not absorbed into the blood stream, ( hardly at all) and you only need to use for a week then once a week or whatever as long as needed.

MrsShortfuse · 14/12/2011 15:13

The passionfruit lube is lovely on ice cream too.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 14/12/2011 17:08

You were a bit "dry" once and you automatically think you "can't have sex" ?

susiedaisy · 14/12/2011 17:12
