At 8pm on Christmas Eve, as we were about to cook our dinner and the turkey for Christmas lunch, the element in our oven decided to blow I was gutted (but can laugh at it now) so my DH rang his parents who immediately said it would be a pleasure to have us round for Christmas dinner

They always help us whenever we need it, are full of words of wisdom and just wanted to say how great they are!

Maddison - you are very lucky I am hugely ous of you

Mine are coming on Wednesday for a couple of days and I am already getting myself into a lather over what we will eat.

They are highly conservative on many things, but food in particular is a pain in the bum!

Thanks for the replies everyone, hope you all had a happy Christmas
