Advise required on changing schools - and I have posted this in Education

Hi,

We live in Hertfordshire and I need to transfer my son from one school to another (I know it's the holidays).

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? He is 13 at the moment.

I have posted here as there is more people viewing this page at the moment.

Thanks for any advise given.

phone the education dept, they will tell you what to do, tbh it could take several weeks after schools are back from holidays, so be prepared for ds to be out of school for sept, hth

I believe the school he could be going to need 15 working days before they accept him. Do you know what school you want him to go to? Do they have a place for him?
