miserable after brazilian wax - this is a bit rude

Hi everyone
Forgive me if this is clumsy but I'm very new here. I need advice on a very personal issue.
I met a new partner recently after years of being single. He persuaded me to have a Brazilian, said it was cleaner and nicer for him and he wouldn't do oral otherwise.
thing is, since I had it done I have lost all sexual sensation on my labia. I mean, if I'm touched there I feel zilch. If he touches my clitoris I feel it, otherwise I might as well be doing the laundry.
One of the things my previous partner did for me which used to have me begging for it was stroke the fur underneath me without touching me. gone now :(
He's made it clear if I grow it back that's the end of oral. But I feel nothing anyway.
