Help! Got a, ahem, 'date' with dh in about 2 hours and bikini wax still sticky!

How do i best get off traces of wax from the strips? Its veet, and there are some wierd wipe things, are they supposed to do the job?

Also, am feaking out as first time i have had a bikini wax (quite impresed, its a bit sparse now! , I'm meeting dh in town as its a belated anniversary meal, kids out for night, I'm thinking of digging out my Kiss Me Deadly suspenders and stockings to wear under my dress, got some ooh la la kickers this aft from ann summers, and also bought my first vibrator , so chances are there's a lot going to be going on down there tonight and i don't want things getting stuck!

Am a bit nervous, do you think a dh would be chuffed at this (might not mention the vibrator!) or will he be mortified?

It should come off with warm water, I would think.

Also, if you don't normally 'make an effort' like this, I can't see how he could fail to be impressed

Bath or shower. Veet dissolves in water (baby wipes work too) as it's more sugar than wax.

No views on the rest other than you better never let my DH know of this quality of service. My skanky old M&S pants and legs-shaved-for-a-special-occasion will never seem the same again! (My Veet expertise is pre-kids.)

My friend who's a beauty therapist always uses a body cream containing tea tree oil after waxing - apparently it moisturises AND removes the last traces of wax.

Oh - and I got a vibrator a few years ago. Never did a thing for me, but once when I was pissed off with DH for spending hours on the bloody X-Box I turned the thing on and shoved it down his boxers to be annoying. This huge grin spread over his face and he said, "wow, now I can wank while playing Star Wars Lego... you're the best wife ever!"

I used it once on the basis that it took the remanats of sticky labels off things.

Hmm, the last time I got all dolled up in stockings and suspenders ( for a party) the only reason I was on my knees with DH holding my hair was because I was puking into the toilet when we got home, ( I wasn;t drunk either) when he was taking off my basque and unclipping my suspenders it was the most unerotic experience ever. I think wearing them again might trigger PTSD on his part!

I'm sure your DH will really appreciate the effort, when DH realised I was wearing them at the party he'd got a filthy grin on his face all night and kept twanging my suspenders.
