photos of his ex

So, I decided to do a spring clean today, and I ended up finding a bag full of pictures of my partner with his ex (old pics, I might add).. They looked really happy together... Its just upset me so much to find it and don't really know how to feel. We don't even have one proper photo of us together after two years and a child, never mind a bag full like that. I haven't spoken to him about it yet (he's still at work). I guess I'm just wondering how other people would feel about it, and what they would do? Do I even have a right to be upset about it?

DH is friends with his ex. He finished it and she (year later) got together with another good friend of his. They've been crazy about each other ever since and got married recently after 11 years together. I dunno; I think it's a good sign if a bloke is respectful about his exes. Show's he's a grownup. A bag of discarded photos isn't something that would bother me at all. Doesn't, in fact. Mainly I just wish I'd had taste as good as his when I was younger (my ex was a wanker, sadly).

Why should he get rid of photos of himself just because his ex happens to be in them.?

Somebody can be part of your past but you can still have fond memories. There's nothing odd about that.

Think of all the photos of you that your exes current partners may have stumbled upon. I find that an odd thought
