Just thought i would share this with you all for a giggle, came home last night, had been out with friends and DP, and whilst in the act he falls asleep!!! hilarious i know but does'nt do much for my self esteem, how would you react? he does'nt seem bothered typicle bloke.

my DP did this, not long after we'd got together. He'd been away with work and driven 9 hours in one day (split over 2 journeys) but then come straight to me! I did understand why he was so tired though, so as much as I was upset, I didn't 'react' He did make up for it the next day though lol

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 13:55

I feel slighltly better not being the only one, i don't really know how to react, not going to make a deal out of it obviously just makes me feel a bit poop ha. My DP has no intention of making it up to me don't think he could care less.

If it was part of the semi drunken 'cor you wait to see what I'm going to do to you when I get you home!' routine then I feel your pain. Usually ends in snoring right at the vital bloody moment, hahaha!

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 14:24

Yep he was very drunk, you would think he would feel a little embarassed, why as women do we always blame ourselves?

OP posts:
peggotty · 15/05/2011 14:28

Why are you blaming yourself? I'm suspecting this is not quite as much of 'a giggle' to you as you are making out? Does he do it often?

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 14:35

It is 50% giggle, 50% whats wrong with me! although i know there is nothing wrong with me and it is down to him,it is the first time i think lately though i have been obsessing a bit about my looks as we all do as we get older i suppose, and this just has'nt helped but hey it is still very funny and did just wonder if it had happened to others and how they had felt about it.

I have fallen asleep more than once Blush

ChippingIn · 15/05/2011 14:58

Umm - I have fallen asleep more than once, have also had partners fall asleep... sometimes you are just so knackered and relaxed.... What would piss me off though is him not apologising & suggesting he makes up for it later!

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 15:01

Thats hilarious were your partners offended?, yeah it does'nt really help selfish t**t, i can not imagine myself ever falling asleep during it,but i might in future instead of just carrying on for his bloody benefit.

OP posts:
ChippingIn · 15/05/2011 15:14

Nope - they just realised I was beyond shattered and that I felt relaxed & comfortable... they both joked about it (hasten to add this was years apart not a threesome!! LOL). I guess they both may have initially felt a little like their 'performance' was less than brilliant and a bit miffed... but they soon got over themselves - as did I when it was the other way around... it's not a big deal unless you make it one. OTOH none of us acted like complete tits and didn't apologise Hmm

ChippingIn · 15/05/2011 15:17

How old are you and do you understand the concept of sleep deprivation??

Grin It had nothing to do with the quality of the sex or a lack lustre sex life in general I can assure you - I could have equally fallen asleep standing up in a snow storm I was that tired.

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 15:25

I am 31 totally understand the concept of sleep deprivation i am a mom, however just can not imagine myself nodding off during it, ha. :)

My husband has done it in his sleep!!!!!!!!!!!! Woke me up, did the deed then as he lay back down he woke up. Did not understand why his boxers were down and spent the whole of the next day calling me a rapist( in a joking way), thought I had took advantage of him for goodness sake! He gets very naughty in his sleep often but never remembers. Not complaining mind!

chubsasaurus · 15/05/2011 18:43

I've fallen asleep before and DP is fantastic. Blame the alcohol.

ilikeshoes · 15/05/2011 19:34

Well i feel a little reassured now, thanks all

ilikeshoes · 16/05/2011 20:26

Oh my god caroline, well i hope you do and at least you can really my DP could'nt care less ha, and at least you have a really good excuse incase you don't feel like doing it in the future.

My BF, aeons ago, fell asleep during foreplay, I was pissed though sort of understood, he was tired. He made it up to me though in the morning. I fell asleep once while another (recent) BF was going down on me Blush we'd been out all night and pretty wasted and I didn't remember - I was mortified - and spent all week making it up to him Smile
