I didn't want to hijack any thread but I've lurked here a little bit and been so sad for some of the posters from their truly awful situations... and then I read more of a thread and without fail, there is always support, honest understanding, sympathy, firm kindness and unfailing good advice. To me that's true female solidarity.

So many posters helped, so patiently, and probably many more who need help but don't post. They can read and be supported in their own way.

If ever there was a board that should be star-rated, it's this one. Just wanted to say that. :)

I agree. I dip in and out but the time some posters give to others on here is phenomenal.

I agree. I just wish I'd had MN twenty years ago! There are some truly strong people on here.

there's no better place for advice on anything at all I feel. From choosing a name to choosing a kitchen gadget to sorting out your relationship, it's all here. Wine to us all.

Ahh, that's lovely, thankyou. And it's not hijacking, any thread would be happy for you to post something like that on it. This place is truly amazing. x

Agree 100%. Thanks everyone.

I so wish MN had been around when I had poison baby 17 years ago. Now she is lovely, but I could have been so much better as a mum if I had had support then
