Grrrr. MIL does this every birthday and every Christmas and have just emailed her back to say "Surely you know what he likes, you have all weekend to go shopping"

Waiting for the reply....should be interesting.

Anyone else gat rankled by this?

I would, but then I wouldn't have time to live my life.

I have reduced my expectations. Now I just get rankled when I'm askd to do all my mother's shopping a day or two ahead of whatever event it is.

Annoying isn't it?
