Another legal notice...taking me to court

Hi,
My ExH sent me another legal notice that he is going to take me back to court for some compensation. I got a divorce and settlement signed after 5 yrs of starting the process and losing significant amount of my savings...now he wants to take me back to court for compensation. I have a young baby now (not his) and have enough on my plate as a single mom. I don't really need twatface trying to get money off me...Will I never be shot of him?

Guess I just want to hear from someone who knows about this stuff that it will all eventually end...and I can have a normal life again...

Compensation for what? I don't understand.

I'm sorry you're going through more hassle.

As IB says, I don't understand what the compensation is supposed to be for Confused. I've been divorced myself, and was the higher earner at the time, and I don't think there was anything like this in our case.

You might get more practical support if you post in the Legal section?

Says I let a flat (overseas) without his consent and he had to travel to get him to vacate and repay deposit (wants to claim airfare, hotel - no doubt and expenses). In fact, all I did was replace a tenant from whom he had already taken deposit and I had to repay it. The flat was supposed to be mine per an earlier informal agreement we had and hence I took action. He rescinded on the agreement, when we renegotiated, I gave it to him to get an early settlement and finalised the consent order...Am I sounding wooly? I can't think clearly...sorry!

Posted in Legal. Thx.

@cinnabarRed, I think my mistake was in wanting to settle early rather than going to final hearing...but my lawyer was bleeding me dry and I wanted to move on...
