I signed DP & myself up for relationship counselling, ooh, about a year ago. We had our initial assessment & have been waiting for a regular slot since September. Just been offered one at 6pm. Childminder stops work at 6pm & friends are all still at work/on their way home. Had to turn the slot down & was warned it would be months before another one came up. Surely this isn't an unusual problem?

Just a vent really, feeling despondent.

ask CM for a one off.

nanny agency/babysitting agency.

ask friends for recommended babysitter.

Our CM (while lovely) wouldn't do it every week & I respect that.

Can't really afford to pay babysitter but that's a good idea for when our finances are better.
