addicited to sex, is this possible? could the coil cause this?

I've had my coil in for nearly two years! I've been single for a few months now and I'm constantly thinking about sex! Everything makes me feel sexual and it can be very irritating!

Do you think the coil could be to blame? Or could it just be the case that sex drive can increase with age?

As I said it can be very annoying when single!

Women reach their sexual peak between 30-40 so I guess that part of your answer depends on your age now! Hormones can definitely alter your libido in a big way but (if you're using a mirena-style coil), things are unlikely to have changed on that front during the past two years.

I reckon you're just waking up to the fact that you're single! Nothing to stop you scratching that itch ... remember to use condoms :)

Well, don't do it if you don't feel okay about it :) Shag the whole town and the visiting cricket team, don't shag anybody, limit your sexual interaction to proper relationships, make a celibacy vow - do what you like, as long as you're safe. You're FREE!!

While you're making your mind up and feeling frustrated, this could be an interesting time to try out some different sex toys ...
