I'm about to ring my dad. I think from his texts he is desperately short of money. In a couple of days I will have some credit in my bank account and could help him to the tune of £15 or so, or more if I cancel one of ds's activities or something. But I'm reluctant to do that. Also I can't believe a word my dad says, and he has been giving thousands of other people's money to scammers in the past 4 years, so my sympathy is not what it should be. Does anyone know -
- the £200 winter heating allowance still exists doesn't it?
- if I did give him £15, how many days' heating would it buy him on a gas card?
- do pensions come out on a particular day a week?
