Does how often a man has sex determine how much semen there is going up inside the woman and how long it takes to come back out?

well, if they don't have sex for a while then there is often more volume yeah
i can't imagine it would make any difference to how long it took to come back out though?

shyandembarrassed · 04/10/2010 16:25

Blush We have had sex twice in a shortish space of time (short for us) yet 2 days after the last shag I still had it making its way out [cringe].

are you sure it was still semen coming out and not just increased discharge?

roomonthebroom · 04/10/2010 16:31

Semen should 'liquify' pretty quickly after ejaculation so should 'come out' pretty quickly. Are you maybe ovulating and it's cervical mucus?

overmydeadbody · 04/10/2010 16:32

how's you know it was semen though and not just discharge?

To answer your question, I doubt it.

onepieceoflollipop · 04/10/2010 16:34

Unless you were lying down for all that time (and probably you would have mentioned that!) then I agree it is probably increased discharge. Sometimes more discharge can result if the area is a bit tender? (which it may be if you had a good time Wink)

onepieceoflollipop · 04/10/2010 16:35

I realised my above comment may sound a bit odd. I meant that if you were lying down for hours then it may not start to trickle out until you were up and about walking round etc.

BlushBlush and Grin at me being so stupid.

onepieceoflollipop · 04/10/2010 16:48

not stupid, it's hardly the sort of question one can ask the other mothers at the school gate/the lady in the florist or whoever. Shock

roomonthebroom · 04/10/2010 17:19

Not a stupid question at all! I know loads about semen becuase were trying to conceive DC no 2, but before that I knew practically nothing - I don't remember my biology teacher sharing these facts with us, in fact his ears remained red for the whole of the reproduction section of the course :o

shyandembarrassed · 04/10/2010 17:20

Thank you onepieceoflollipop for not making me feel stupid :).

how is anyone supposed to know this stuff? i never got any sex education of any kind, although IIRC there was a picture of 2 chickens mating in the textbook Hmm

clarabella23 · 04/10/2010 21:57

I've found that it takes longer for different peoples too. With my ex it used to come out straight away, with someone I was dating earlier this year, it would be about a day later. Perhaps some peoples are a bit stickier? That sounds really bad!
