and I told her this is totally normal even if you wouldn't have 'it' back gift wrapped. They have tons of baggage so I reckon it's just history making her cry? Anyone else experienced this? I always thought good riddance personally but they were married I suppose.

I mean, I thought good riddance with my exs not hers btw and just felt sorry for or happy for the new gf depending on bloke.

I was just talking about this with my friend! I found out my ex and his new partner were having a baby (long time before I met DH!) and I was really thrown as the reason we'd split up was that he didn't want children! No way I'd want him back but it made me wonder if he'd been genuine about anything
