I want to thank everyone who was so supportive a few months ago when I was struggling with coming out. I've now told all those close to me and everyone has been wonderful. I've only had one "friend" question me on it saying was it because I've had such a bad time with men.

I'm seeing someone and she's great! It's only been about a month but so far so good.

So thanks again for the support and help, it was just what I needed.

Met my new gf's sister and brother in law this weekend. Was very nice to be included in family things DD knows of my partner but doesn't know everything and today dd randomly said she liked my gf and asked if we could invite her over.

I'm just so surprised it's going so well - just hope it's not all too good to be true.

Did think after posting that it's a bit insensitive so apologies to anyone going through a rough time who thinks I'm gloating.

For me coming out was the hardest thing I've ever done and I'm so glad I've done it, mostly successfully, and have someone in my life who I can openly be with. It's the most liberating feeling.
