My new hubby has expressed an interest in this, but to date I am still apprehensive - do any of you experienced mum's have any advice to offer?

(um, no, I called them ham fisted small penised cunts)

I might have gone too far.*

*I totally didn't.

It's not called riding the crimson wave. That means having your period. It's called getting your redwings.

Shiny's right.
If it's OK by you it's not that different from other times, just marginally messier on the sheets. As she says, put a towel underneath and remember to take the tampon out first.

and you'l need tape....to cordon off the area afterwards!

I am completely lost - can someone enlighten me (OP perhaps?)
Your husband wants to have sex with you while you are having a period? Because he wants to have sex with you today and you happen to have your period (in which case what everyone else says about a towel etc, as long as you don't mind) or he wants to experience having sex with you while you are having your period for some sexual satisfaction purpose, in which case

?? You mean have sex during your period? So what. Use a towel if you are worried about messing up the sheets.
