That's a shame - I wanted DD to hear the old radio version

There's so many versions, but the radio series was fantastic.

It really was & so was the BBC radio "The Lord of the Rings" - it was so atmospheric

Its well worth getting hold of the original Radio version..it is probably available in librarys..or at worst nip down to Waterstones and ask them to order it!

Make sure you specify the BBC radio version though..when I ordered it, they got me the version where Douglas Adams is reading it!
