Omg, my mum died and I had 2 weeks off then I had to be full on. My friend in the industry said Z will be paid more than you can imagine but easily 6 figures.

I'm not a fan of Scott, I find him a bit downbeat for mornings. Wasn't a huge fan of Zoe but I'm sorry she got the endless negativity about time off during what was clearly a tough time.

I only caught a bit this morning, but Zoe said something like ' I'm going to be a mum ' I assume she means the kids are back with her ( not that I know much about her home situation or anything , it just seemed an odd thing to say snd I thought her children were older ?)
I like Scott , but I'm surprised his doing the early slot. At least his a proper DJ and funny , but I know people some don't like him much. Too dry at times.

I don't mind Zoe, but when Scott stepped in for her extended leave I really enjoyed it. I think because I'm just less enthusiastic in the morning I enjoyed his style!

I don't think it's even Zoe, it's the 'crazy crew' vibe which is so fake, twee, and outdated. It's very old fashioned in it's format.

Her son is 24 and her daughter is 14. Those early starts for 6 years must be a killer. She said she’s looking forward to being around in the morning for her DD.

I don't mind R 2 during the week, it's the weekends that are hit and miss.
At least it's not constant ads on there.

I don't blame her for leaving, 4 am for 6 years is brutal. I like Scott Mills and thought he was good when he covered for her a few weeks ago although on RATW he said 'remind me to never do a breakfast show!'. I like Trevor Nelson but not mad on his music but assume it will be different stuff during the afternoon. Not fussed about Spoony because I rarely have the radio on at that time. Ditto SEB. I wonder what Zoe Ball will do because she said she wasn't leaving R2. Maybe she'll stand in for people like Gary Davies does?

I couldn't have done what she's done for the last 6 years so hats off to her and best of luck for her future endeavours. Looking forward to seeing what she does on R2. So pleased they have gone with Scott! Yay! Hope Ritchie moves shift to start with Vernon, he works better with him and definitely don't think him and Scott gelled.

Yes. A nice Sunday slot would be good. Maybe the 4pm -6pm - a nice chatty show as people v people prepare food etc.

i think they should move Paddy’s also, it’s too high octane for a mellow Sunday. The show is okay, but in the wrong slot.
