I'm obsessed with this programme and have downloaded previous series from Audible to feed my habit.
It is just BRILLIANT. The writing is so good and Christopher Douglas as Ed is a genius. As is Barunka O'Shaugnessey as Ping.

Nauticant I found Grubb street by accident as I heard Christopher Douglas's voice on the radio and realised he was in it.
It is so good, and funny to hear the familiar names in a different context.
I think Christopher Douglas is THE BEST radio actor I have ever heard.
Grubb Street is helping me in my pining for another Ed Reardon series but I am missing the grumpy old git.

Reardon fans - watch this - isn't he lovely?
Or is it me?
Perhaps I need to get out more...

I love New Grub St, not least because there's a minor character with the same relatively uncommon surname as me. I came to it through Ed Reardon's week.

Another fan here. Ed Reardon's week on R4X and now New Grub Street, great!

Glad to have found some fellow fans!

When I stumbled across this I wondered if I was being spied upon! I have heard myself voicing or thinking many of his complaints! I suspect his frustrations and observations are not uncommon.

Let's hope S12 is not too far away. I have offered my services as an Elgar understudy; my miaows are much more convincing.

My one worry....is he a misogynist? He seems to have very bad luck with his women friends....

Another fan here. Whenever I go through Berkhampsted on the train I think of Ed.
