But will there be an actual SOTMC this festive season? Will it be Tony? Jill? Or even Lizzy?

OP posts:
northernlurker · 13/12/2014 14:28

Jill's indigestion is clearly Significant.

IWantDogger · 13/12/2014 14:37

Could you lovely committed archers listeners clear something up for me?
Re. Adam and Charlie.

I think I remember some sort of meaningful 'you know exactly what I mean Adam...' Moment quite a while ago, but am not sure if;
(A) they got it on and I missed that episode
(B) I was meant to infer from that comment that something happened
(C) nothing has happened but there is unresolved sexual tension and it still might
(D) there is no sexual tension, I imagined the whole thing, and have a one track mind.

Can anyone help?

Bluestocking · 13/12/2014 14:40

Hello, you two!
That's £6.73, yes a twenty pound note is fine. So here's the ten, and one, two, three pounds, and ten, twenty pence, and do you mind having three 2ps and a penny, we're out of 5ps.
It's ages since we had a good change counting scene.

OhLittleBoreOfWhabylon · 13/12/2014 15:22

Changecounting! Happy days Xmas Grin

GypsyFloss · 13/12/2014 15:38

IWantDogger for me it's C. I think if it was A or B then we would have heard more angsting from Adam.

Signing in just in case the thread continues ...

I thought the same as Mimsy (previous thread) when Jill complained of indigestion. My DH's indigestion was not indigestion at all but was a prelude to a heart attack.

At least Carol's told her to go to the doctor instead of giving her a herbal remedy.

Will O'C celebrate the end of his first year as editor with a wholesale deading?

Icimoi · 13/12/2014 17:20

I'm starting to get irritated again at the whole issue of Helen's engagement and Knob's lack of divorce. If it were true that the baby isn't his, he could have got his divorce through months ago on the grounds of adultery. Yet Hellin never seems even to ask why it's all taking so long.

mummytime · 13/12/2014 17:44

I'm pretty sure Jenny and Brian went on Thursday, as Alice and Chris we're going to collect Ruari. I'm sure all Prep schools would break up on a Thursday or Friday, not a Saturday.

PinkSquash · 13/12/2014 17:48

Place marking as I need to catch up quickly as I've stopped listening for a while but I'm starting a book on who's gonna croak it in the new year.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/12/2014 17:48

I reckon soc was going for a plane crashing and killing a load but then Ukraine happened and even soc isn't that crass

Hakluyt · 13/12/2014 17:52

And Jennifer knows about Knob's baby - why hasn't she told anyone?

choccyp1g · 13/12/2014 18:24

She did mention it to Helen. And got a mouthful of MYOB for her trouble.

minklundy · 13/12/2014 19:15

Maybe all 3 of them die in a mass cull and soc spends all the money on random bit part medics, undertakers etc.

GypsyFloss · 13/12/2014 19:17

Just had a thought...what about another big fire?

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 13/12/2014 19:25

Forgot to say thank you for a stupendous thread title PseudoFlowers

I'm wondering just how many TA actors are currently enrolled at S O'C's special finishing school. (Mission statement: We'll make a new man or woman of you! )

polyhymnia · 14/12/2014 00:28

Re Adam and Charlie, I think (C) too.

CuttedUpPear · 14/12/2014 04:34

Helloooooo.....

guineapiglet · 14/12/2014 08:33

Yoo hoo everyone... Coming on to this bright shiny thread to say that, whilst I realise I am in a very tiny soufflé eating minority, I am quite enjoying Carol and her sleeping draughtsXmas BlushXmas Grin..
There is something about Jill's increasingly shrill and clipped speech was is getting very irritating and Peggy has been increasingly whiny. We never hear Christine anymore, so Carol's tones are quite soothing in comparison. She seems to be the one the dowager matriarchs confide in so a useful plot device. Interesting that none of her offspring will bealivewith her at Christmas...

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 14/12/2014 08:35

Shuffling in with hopes I can keep up over TFS.

Eastpoint · 14/12/2014 09:18

Could the sink hole cause a crack in a gas pipe which could lead to a big explosion outside the church when they have the Christingle (or whatever it's called with candles in oranges) service? Could get rid of George, Kiera, Ed, Emma, Nic, Will, Helen, Rob, Henry, Phoebe, Alice, Chris, Ruauri Roy, gosh I'm going to stop - basically everyone apart from Usha, Pat & Tony (conveniently in hospital), Jennifer & Brian (Prague) & Adam & Ian.

PseudoBadger · 14/12/2014 09:57

Ooh nice thinking :o

OP posts:
BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/12/2014 10:00

I think soc would want the explosion under the tucker household surely?

Can't agree about carol. She make me reach for the off switch, along with Charlie and anyone who wants to talk about Brookfield.

unitarian · 14/12/2014 10:05

I think C) for Adam & Charlie.
The sinkhole will feature on Christmas Day.

WaltzingWithReindeers · 14/12/2014 10:30

Can someone remind me if a sinkhole has actually manifested itself at Brookfield, or if it's all conjecture on our part based on D&R going on about excessive amounts of rain, high water table, river's never been so high etc.

If it hasn't already manifested itself, maybe that's what'll happen on Christmas Day unitarian with fatalities galore
