Something at the risk of disagreeing with you (and I blame the SW's worship of EE and Corrie type sensation for this) let's not fall into the trap of calling 'normal' Ambridge life boring. IMO the battle between good taste, in the guise of Linda Snell, and low brow taste embodied by Jazzer is quite entertaining .

You're probably right. I've noticed that most of my Ambridge posts are a bit "Emma." Perhaps I'm just out of synch with the SWs at the moment.
