I thought blue was going to be purple. If you don’t know it then there was no chance of getting it. One of the purples makes no sense and green is a mystery to me.

The palindrome for yesterday’s connection was “Able was I ere I saw Elba”. I have no idea how I knew it, but the words just jumped out if you did. I think “palm” had to be pronounced in a strong Boston accent to make it sound (vaguely) like “Pom”.

(re: yesterday's puzzle - I hate how the default popular/common dog breed is 'Pit(t)'. We've had that word a few times - whenever the connection is dogs, actually. I just looked up the stats and there were 50-60 fatal pit bull attacks in the USA last year. Soz to bring the mood down, but it baffles me how the Americans love this dog).
