Just to confirm there has been absolutely no manipulation of the image I shared yesterday - the print photo is a bit faded but it was also taken in February fairly early in the day, so the light was rather weaker than it might have been otherwise, contributing to the 'washed out' look. The photo also wasn't taken to try and 'create a look' - it just worked out that way.
So - I actually took that photo in 1994.
The car is a 1947 Rover 14 which we owned at the time and had driven it to Paris for a classic car show. Couldn't resist a photo of it below the Eiffel Tower (bet you can't park that close now).
Well spotted by @DeanElderberry that there is part of a much more modern vehicle visible on the right, and hats off to @SabreIsMyFave for getting the age of car so close.
The camera may never lie - but it can certainly deceive. 🤣
