Yesterday I referred to small Irish midland towns wrt the picture of the Gordon Bennett race, first international road motor race in Britain and Ireland - the boss in a place where I worked for a while organised the centenary event, and tended to talk about it if encouraged. Sometimes even when not encouraged.

We've had #1 before with the comfortable well-lit room and the Christmas tree and the books and the lovely lovely dog. I do know that there must have been a massive staff of servants somewhere to keep the show on the road.
