The pesky little islands of the Caribbean - never been there but no idea of the order of the islands. Then in Europe have Vatican, Monaco, San Marino. They have been countries of the day

The Pacific / Polynesia options also aren't at all near each other. Fiji / Samoa / Tonga are neighbours but not particularly geographically close. NZ isn't near anywhere. Auckland to Sydney is about the same as London to Moscow I think.

On the other hand, there's a belt of small, independent islands in the east Caribbean mixed up with ones that are still dependencies. And there's the central American states so even if you guess nearby there may be 15 or so countries in the radius. It's definitely easier making a guess when it's in the Pacific I reckon.
