I couldn't read the date but know when that particular assassination happened. I think Jem Russell refers to it (as a worrying past event) in one of the Chalet School books.

The user experience on a phone is much better than on a tablet. Very few ads, on my ipad I have to hit the 'x' at least 3 times to be able to see the photo and set the year. Ridiculous, none of that nonsense on my phone!
