I don't understand the second word...

@BasilParsleyam also mystified by the second word

I came on here ot find this thread to see if anyone had worked it out.
My results are same as DapperDame. I got word 2 becuase i had word 1 and 3 and this is the only word you can make that isn't a repeat.

I have googled etc and I cannot find any link between this word and the meaning given.

I am veyr confused and a bit annoyed as I have a really good triplet record!

Also not impressed with the middle word!

It was annoying enough to realise ìd lost my streak the other day because I'd moved off the app before watching the ad 😡

Maybe I'm over-invested but... I reported the error on the Triplit feedback feature and they replied pretty much straight away

Comments:The middle word on today's puzzle, number 543 does not fit the clue. Surely the answer should be "punds", rather than "ponds". But of course "punds" doesn't fit the letter pattern. On the other hand, one error over 500+ puzzles isn't too shabby!
