washing the hood on a Mac XLR?

Can anyone describe how I get the hood off my Maclaren XLR to wash it? I can't see how it comes off at all.

do you mean off the frame? If so you need to push the little clips through.....hang on, hard to type explain it!! Face the pushchair - put your hands round the frame where the hood is attached.you will feel the clips and you have to almost pull it in then out........oh god that sounds pants

Maxy - Thanks, it makes no sense as I read it but maybe once I'm in front of the buggy all will become clear!

ah hope so! Give me a shout if not and i will try and explain again. It's just a clip that's all - once you've done it it will be very obvious!

depends how old your xlr is and what the hood fastenings are like. Tis very simple tho to get off.

Hiya, its the 2009 version I think, maybe the 2008? I haven't got round to trying to get it off yet, fingers crossed - I don't want to break anything!
