What can I do to jazz up my old Bugaboo Frog

Have a Black Bugaboo Frog used with ds1 and ds2. Now expecting ds3 and, try as I might, I can't really justify buying a new travel system for what will probably be last baby. Also I don't anticipate using it a huge amount as always used slings/front-carriers/back-carriers/bike seats etc quite a lot with the other two as well. Once they got to 5/6m we slung a cheapo Tesco stroller in the back of the car so that we didnt have to fold/unfold it all the time so it will really only be used for walking up to the high street, park etc. Never go on buses. Also spent most of it's time with the maxi-cosi carseat on it once out of the carry-cot stage so really just needed as a frame most of the time.

However, I am feeling a bit jealous with my all-black old frog of all the young PFB yummy mummies with their multi-coloured bee things. I seem to remember you could get custom fabrics on ebay but they all seem to be for the Chameleon now and I am confused about what would fit on a frog as well? Can I buy the actual Bugaboo custom fabrics for Chameleon or does it have to be tailor made specifically for a frog?

The other thing that used to really piss me off was the endless punctures in the back wheels when we took it to the park. Someone told me the chameleoon tyres are puncture proof. Can I replace the old frog wheels with these new Chameleon ones?

Any other ideas to bling up my trusty old Frog? /

Not entirely sure but have heard of a few that use the cam fabrics on the frog.

Poshbugs and chunkle munkle do custom made to fit the frog.

Have also heard of the wheels being slimed to avoid punctures but not really sure what this entails.

There are universal bugaboo liners on sale in mothercare - if you want to change the seat - or you could get a liner/footmuff/hood made by Snunkie

I have also heard the cam fabrics fit the frog - although possibly the hood fabric is a little loose at the back - but by all accounts it still works.

Think you can get some sludge to pack the tyres with (I need it for my P&T) that would help with the puncture issue. Try a bike or good indie pushchair shop - ours has it.

eBay might be good for fabrics - poshbugs always seem to be on there.

some good ideas, thanks - I think I will go for trying some cam fabrics - I am sure yu can pin it or stitch it at teh back if it is a little loose.

The sludge idea is a good one although one website seems to be telling me you can put Chameleon puncture proof tyres on a frog so i might ask in john lewis etc about that.

Keep the ideas coming - I'll end up with a bling-mobile!

I have a set of frog custom covers for sale, hood, liner and apron for the carrycot.

its black with a red flower design on it, I get stopped all the time about comments for it so I think most people must really like it!!

Selling as I don't use my frog anymore and the frame is broken so stripped of its parts and this is all that is left and is about to go on ebay.

its this design:

Heather at poshbugs has a pattern for a frog hood I believe, and she can also make you a matching parasol and baby nest to make the carrycot cosy.

Well I got a Poshbugs hood and liner from ebay for my Frog and I confirm it fits pretty well. It is a tiny pit longer at the back but nothing you would really notice and could easily be pinned in. So I think I can saafely say that the chameleon fabrics, for hood and liner at least, fit the Frog fine - which I alsways wondered.

Now I've just got to clean it and sort the wheels out - I need confirmation that you can put the big puncture proof chameleon wheels on a Frog, which I think you can.
