BJCM - please talk to me about the seat

Can anyone tell me more about the seat unit on the baby jogger city mini? Is it fixed in place or can a leaning child pull it forward?

I have a nipper 360 which DD tipped over this morning as she leaned forward to reach for a toy The seat harness is attached to the seat pad but this is not anchored to anything so the child can learn right forward. I hadn't worried about it until this morning but now I'm thinking of swapping to another pushchair....

Bump

Maybe I didn't explain myself very well - but could someone describe the Baby Jogger seat unit to me? If you pull the harness does it tip forward?

Thanks

I don't think so.

The seats are quite "laid back" and I had trouble making mine more upright - pushed the seat forward as far as poss with my hand (it will only just reach the upright position) and then tightened the strap at the back.

It definately would not go so far forwards with your child that they could tip out!

The city mini itself is very stable - not a "tippy" pushchair in any direction.

There is nice suspension over the front wheel and the wheels run so smoothly. Two of the best things about the city mini are the enourmous sun canopy and the super quick folding mechanism.

If you prefer air tyres - have a look at the city classic - there is a lovely bargain pink one on ebay City classic £139 which is brand new!

minr hijack - posibly?
How small does the BJCM fold? am looking for a buggy to keep in the boot of the car, needs to be suitable for newborn and able to take 3 yr old occasionally, I prefer one handled to 2 handled, apart form that I'm quite tempted by the petite star zia
Thank you

I think most websites selling the bjcm should state folded size. It would be good for your needs if it fits in the boot by the sounds. It does fold very flat, and is a doddle to fold. Quality of fabric, frame and wheels is superior to a lot of competitors out there. Bjcm seems pricey but at same time is v good value.
Sorry don't have measurements for you. Sold mine and bought a bee plus as i wanted Ds facing me. Other than that the bjcm was fab!
