M&Ps Sola - has anyone used this from birth without the carry cot?

I am 38wks and got this pushchair thinking we won't need the carrycot, but as my due date looms I am starting to panick that baby wont be comfortable in the pushchair when new born.

So just womdering if anyone has used it from birth without carry cot and how did you get on?

If not and you used the carry cot do you reconmend it?

Haven't used from birth as only purchased recently but I honestly think if you put something like a sheepskin in then your baby will be absolutely fine. it's such a short time before they want to be sitting up a bit anyway.
