Stroller that can be pushed one handed

I've got a Mothercare Urban Detour which has proved to be fantastic value, easy to steer and robust. But it is big and bulky and something a bit smaller would be handy sometimes. I've got an umbrella fold stroller which isn't much use as I can't push it and hold my toddler at the same time.

Any recommendations for something lightweight, not too expensive that I can push with one hand? I like the Bugaboo Bee but can't afford it and DH hates them.

baby jogger city mini? v v light, can push with one finger, and folds in 'half'..

Well did you see the sale price on the 09 bee at Mothercare? Until the end of today it's got another 10% off that and if you type code jlk in the box at checkout it will take a further 10% off. This means you can buy it for £287 and you can point out to your hubby what a good resale price you can expect for it when you finally no longer need it and wish to sell! Hope this helps.
Otherwise i'd 2nd the baby Jogger city mini. Use same code at Mothercare for discount.

Micralites can be pushed one handed.

I've got a maclaren volvo and it is very light.

Oh yes, the Micralite superlite looks fab. Only £137 on some websites too. Excellent value as they're so nicely made and easy to push. Very funky too.

Either Baby Jogger or Micralite. I've had both and both are fab one handers.

Basically anything with a bar type handle rather than two separate handles is what you are looking for

With the umbrella fold, can you get your toddler to hold onto the buggy rather than your hand?
