Please look at this page here and tell me which you would choose and why! I am definitely going to buy one, but envisage only using for a year then selling on, so I want one that will sell well in a year, still looking good. Thanks

Red, because I like red. I definitely wouldn't choose the purple.

5inthebed · 16/05/2010 13:50

Id get the red and black for unisex. The purple is lovely though.

madamefreckle · 16/05/2010 14:14

So do you think the fudge is just too boring? I thought it might be good as the colour is unisex and perhaps more 'timeless' than some of the others.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 16/05/2010 14:22

It's not boring, just not my cup of tea. I don;t like brown lookin prams.

madamefreckle · 16/05/2010 14:42

Roll up, roll up! Anyone else? I really want to make the decision today - dp is totally unhelpful in such matters and I'm a useless decision-maker.

The red/black is the only one that I had ruled out on the grounds that it (to me) looked rather masculine but maybe I'm wrong.

mine is black and red and its lovely. I didnt get the fudge because I thought it looked like it would get dirty very quickly.

I also didnt like the blue and purple, I thought they looked a bit cheap

Skegness · 16/05/2010 19:08

I have blue for my daughter. It is fab.
Don't like red/black because it's harsh looking, fudge because it's boring and like the purple but not as much as the blue.

Skegness · 16/05/2010 19:09

lol dct. We have opposing views.

Skegness · 16/05/2010 19:12

Not sure that picture does the blue justice, tbh. Mine looks so nice, honest!

Rockbird · 16/05/2010 19:28

Purple without a doubt, I covet a purple pushchair.

NomDePlume · 16/05/2010 19:36

fudge

nannyj · 16/05/2010 19:40

I would get the fudge.

BertieBotts · 16/05/2010 19:44

I don't really like any of them much but purple, just because it's unusual and you don't see many purple pushchairs.

Have a look on ebay completed listings though to see what the colours have gone for. I know it will change in a year, but you might get an idea.

madamefreckle · 16/05/2010 21:11

ebay has loads in fudge but that's more because the original colours were just the fudge (beige)and the licorice (red/black)

OP posts:
Skegness · 16/05/2010 21:39

fudge is for eating not pushchair upholstery! blue blue blue!

Mermaidspam · 16/05/2010 21:50

Purple! purple!

Adair · 16/05/2010 22:05

Red/black or fudge is what people will expect, as the blue and purple are new colours.

However, if you buy blue or purple, ebay buyers will know you have a new one (and not one of the old ones that had the problems).

And for me, def not fudge. Not practical at ALL.

Hmmm, think I would go
blue
purple
red/black

no, no.

purple
blue
red/black

Maybe red/black

I really miss my Cherry btw. If I can say that without it being misconstrued .

madamefreckle · 16/05/2010 22:21

So - an equal number of votes for just about every colour.

I hope that has clarified things for you madamefreckle.

Skegness · 16/05/2010 22:34

For resale I honestly think blue would be a pretty good choice. It is one of the newer colours so isn't asssociated with wheels falling off etc but people who are bothered about that sort of thing are more likely to be happy to have a girl in a blue buggy than a boy in a purple one (so sad that this is still an issue in 2010 but as Lee's post shows it really is)so blue could have a wider resale market than the (admittedly lovely) purple. I think they look much nicer all one colour, for some reason. Have you seen one in the flesh? Definitely don't think the photos do the blue and purple justice but they make the red\black look better. In summary BLUE!

Skegness · 16/05/2010 22:37

lol bran. Ain't that always the way? tbh, freckle, I'd just buy the one you like best. I think any\all of them will have resale value if well looked after.

Thediaryofanobody · 16/05/2010 22:38

I'd go for the grey(ish) or a black one for resale value some people really don't like colors on buggies.

I love the purple personally.

eeyore2 · 17/05/2010 12:35

I have the fudge. It's so smart and looks gorgeous. I've had it 6 months and it doesn't get dirty, it's not actually that light. And it looks fab with the fudge footmuff.
