mel, thats a great lot of comparisons pics, thank you. that rules out the peach for me, and possibly the pear as well.

i know the strider and b-duel are essentially the same, over here the strider is only a single buggy made for argos, but in oz the b-duel is called the strider. i loved the strider single when i tried one, so am really curious about the b-duel.

i have had a test drive and love it and it really does fold in one bit and fits in the boot of my car fine, i have managed to stand it up when folded by folding the footrest into a base. i looks long from where you are standing when pushing but when you see the reflection in the shop windows its not very long at all. i had my two facing each other and they played peek-a-boo ALOT. the hoods are fab and the basket is HUGE. the only problem i have is the buggyboard, my kiddboard and kid-sit dont fit and the baby jogger ones are not out yet so i might have to buy the lascal maxi

misdee i had a pear before and the babyjogger select is much better.

misdee · 28/05/2010 09:55

can i ask how much you paid? as just been emailed the price list from groovy style, and unsure if its the best price iyswim.

Balamorybaby · 28/05/2010 10:23

Glad you liked it Mel, and that the LO's were happy too.

I have managed to put my Lascal maxi board on the back of mine, I was hoping that my strolli rider would fit but unfortunately for DS2 it doesn't.

Have had a play with it indoors but haven't taken it out as yet, the kids love it tho, and peak-a-boo is a very popular game here too! The hoods are great and give really good coverage.

misdee I would say this is definitely better than both the pear and the peach. I bought mine from Dan at Lullaboo baby, and would def recommend him, great service and very friendly too. I pre-ordered in March and I paid £579 for the pushchair and extra seat unit (which comes with the adaptors).

I did hear from another forum that the prices were going to increase soon though.

mel2005 · 28/05/2010 13:44

yes same price here from dan.
i am really getting good at the folding bit, its just so easy. i have just been hunting around for a maxi board but i can find anyone locally with one in stock. might go and see if john lewis have a new bugaboo one as it looks like it might fit.

just went over a really bumpy wet muddy field and it was fine and easy to steer. the more i use it the more i love it.

ki28 · 29/05/2010 19:38

them pics really sjow the size of child you can have in the seats. Whats the eldest size any of you guys have in the pram.

So it really is the bestest ever ever pram then???

i love it more everytime i use it, i have just ordered snack trays from dan at lullaboo and i have a parent console which is great. the basket is massive and its sooo smooth to push. i was going to make some pockets to the back of the seats but it has them already which is a bonus. my concern was how low the front seat is but its higher than the back seat of the phil and teds and i am now happy with it. the support of the seats are fine and very supportive and much firmer than i had imagined from one review i read which is great. i can get it up kerbs ok as well without putting my foot on the back. my twins are 17months, i will try my four year old in it and let you know.
dan tried the bugaboo board for me and it doesnt fit
i love my side by side buggies but its nice to be smaller.
are you tempted ki28? i havent found any faults with it yet which is always a worry with new buggies.

misdee · 29/05/2010 22:33
