P and T's - When did you put your baby in the double seat?

Dd is 12 weeks old and is 13lb 15oz! She was out of the cocoon at 8 weeks!

She cries when I put the 23mo dd in the double seat above her so I have been using a sling for her and having dd1 in the pushchair.

We tried dd2 in the double seat the other night but she is far too small for it now.

When did you move your baby to the double seat? It seems silly having a double pram that I cant use properly!

I have tried moving dd2 up the seat so that she isnt under the seat so much but its still a tight fit.

DS went in the underneath seat from 13 weeks - not in the cocoon but we had a buggy fleece thing from DD's old buggy which we put in there to make it comfortable. We also pushed it around a bit without the seat on top until he got used to it but then DD is a bit bigger (nearly 3).

Sorry, should perhaps also have said that I have DS so his head is almost touching the end of hte underneath seat and he can see me. He isn't really under the top seat much at all although is still strapped in.
