Hi all,
I have just managed to get a new bee with hood for £380 with next day delivery and an additional £30 cash back, from Mothercare. They have the base for £377 at the moment, and the hood on top, but if you go through quidco you can get 7% cashback and an extra 10% off. Twas so cheap I almost bought 2

is the bee 2010 the bee plus then? I found the mothercare site a bit vague

faddle · 28/04/2010 17:37

yes its the new 2010 bee plus, with the spoked wheels etc.

Sam001 · 28/04/2010 22:28

oh wow! have been looking for new bugaboo bee for ages but thought it was too expensive! will try mothercare. thanks for tip.

Tabitha8 · 29/04/2010 14:14

Sounds good. Mothercare are already doing 10% off all pushchairs, so is the Quidco another 10% off? Can you tell me how it works? How did you get the £30 cashback? Does it go to your credit card? Quidco's code of JLK appears to have taken the second 10% off my shopping basket, but I'm too much of a wimp to confirm my order!
Sorry, too many questions, but I'd never heard of Quidco before.
Thanks!

Sam001 · 29/04/2010 17:00

just do it! i think it works.
i am getting mine too with the discount

faddle · 29/04/2010 17:32

Right, quidco (no I dont work for them) are a website you register for an account, and then when you are shopping online, search for the shop you want to buy from, and access the shop website through your quidco login and a couple of months later you get a cheque for the cashback. Mothercare at the moment the cashback is 7% of what you spend, so if you spend £1000 then you get a cheque for around £70.
The 10% JLK code you get at quidco just apply at checkout and it does work, I just got the bee plus 2010, with hood for about £380 with next day delivery. Bargainous.

faddle, thanks so much for this info! i am going for it, thanks to your info.

what colour did you get? Did you buy cocoon from mothercare as well?

faddle · 29/04/2010 18:06

Am having a custom hood made from poshbugs, she has the pattern now and is working on the seat liner pattern so will be ready soon. I dont need the cocoon as DD is past that stage, but I think poshbugs can make those too........and matching change bag and footmuff. Just a thought if you wanted custom ones.

oo sorry, I just realised, that sounds like an advert for poshbugs, sorry, I just get all my custom stuff from there and I think she is fab...

The deed is done! Thanks! I'm all excited now . I went for a plain old black hood. Quite fancy a seat liner, but they are out of stock.
Do I need to register a bank acct with Quidco or will they just mail me a chq?

faddle · 29/04/2010 20:35

DH says you need to register a bank account. the month after quidco receive the money, it will land in your bank account.
we have had the account for about a year, DH is always rabbiting on about it, and I've never taken much notice, but when I realised that we have had about £450 cash back over the year, and thats without me putting my stuff through, thats when I got wise to it and I'm now really glad I used it when getting the bee as it almost pays for the liner.
