They are not good for the older child, my dd was too heavy at 2(she is very tall) and the front wheels wouldn't spin. My sister has a Quinny and loves it.

thanks posie i thought that might be the case i have read reviews on mothercare website but children seem to be around 4 months from the reviewers. might just buy a fork lift truck to get him about

I thought about getting a Petite Star Zia for my just 2 year old (for a holiday as it folds so well) but was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough. Toys R Us though do their own version "Bruin Zia" which is heavier so may be more suitable?

In the end I went for the Baby Jogger City Mini.

Don't recommend the Petite Starr. We have one for DS who is a 'big' 20 month old. It has become harder to push and more unwieldy as he has grown. DH and I have come to loathe it! Handles also very low, DH is 6 foot and never wants to push and I have to wear flat shoes even being average height. Will be replacing it very shortly!

A couple of bad reviews there lol. But I have to say I really like it. If you're looking for a lightweight 3 wheeler then I really think that Zia is the way to go.

I used to have a Quinny Zapp and that was Okay but it was a mission to fold if and the back didn't recline. Also it had no sun canopy. The Zia is basically the same as the Zapp but with the added bonus that It does recline, it does have a sun canopy AND it is soooo easy to fold.

I understand that people have been having problems with 'bigger' babies but as for me i love it. and big thumbs up!

i too have read quite a few not-so-good reviews. iirc most said it was quite rattly. why not go with the maclaren quest or an obaby umbrella fold? they come up trumps in most peoples opinion, and its such a skinny fold too.
