I have a P&T Sport. I love it.

AFAIK the diff between the 3 is the the E3 doesn't clip closed and the second seat doesn't recline at all while the Sport does. The Vibe is a posher version of the Sport with a solid plastic rather than a fabric footwell, thicker frame and a better hood for lie-flat. I think the Vibe is slightly larger when folded too. It's certainly more expensive than the other two.

My Sport was £4oo brand new including the doubles seat and rain cover. This was the best price I found at the time. My friend bought one 2nd hand for £250.

I love mine. Wish we'd bought it instead of our Silvercross 3D first time round. It's so adaptable and an absolute dream to push. I love all the extras you can get for it too. Downsides are that the 2nd child does end up using your basket as a footwell in 2 child mode and they are very low down...

Thanks for that. I have a large 7month old and a 2.3 yr old. What would be the best way for them to sit?

I bought a secondhand E3 for £80. I have to say that it is great to push because you really feel like you are only pushing a single. And if you have one child that likes to walk a lot then it is good because you don't feel like you are pushing around a huge double for no reason.

But they are the only two things I like about it . I hate the lack of storage and the fact that the child in the second seat doesn't have a hood. And I don't think that either or my two look very comfortable in their seats but that may well be because mine is such an old model.

Hello Snala, the heaviest child has to sit at the front otherwise the P&T could topple backwards. P&T make this clear in their instructions but I often see parents out and about with it the heavier child in the back.

I had a P&T - loved it and would recommend it. I had an original one way back in 2006, with a 2 year gap between my children. I used it for 2 years then sold it on.

Thanks, I have just seen that they do a 'classic' model too. Now im even more confused!

The P&T Vibe has a movable hood so you can use it as a sort of pram too, with cocoon IYSWIM, it also has a higher sunhood for a taller toddler that the Sport.

The Sport/E3 is much less weildy to steer though.

With a 7 month old and a 2.3 yr old, you'd have the 2.3 year old in the fixed seat and the 7 month old in the doubles seat at the back. As baffledmum says, the heaviest child has to go in the front to balance the P&T.

My friend has the Vibe and it looks good but it is way more expensive than the Sport and for the few months that the movable hood going to be helpful, it didn't see worth it. With the Sport in doubles mode, the heavier child covers the baby anyway and a mini rain cover protects the open back. With a 7 month old, you'd never use it in that function anyway.

There is no hood for the child at the rear but you can buy a rain/sun that cover goes over both anyway. I never really used the hood on my old pushchair so I never thought of it as a problem.

I love the way that I can have both children in the P&T while at the same time, only taking out one seat if one of the children is somewhere else, like pre school.

The Sport was my minimum when buying. It's not a full lie back on the second seat but it does recline a bit which I wanted for when DD falls asleep. P&T's were about my only choice for a double anyway as nothing else would fit in the boot of my little Polo
