ha, am laughing because I need a p+t and am selling a quinny zapp....

turns on a sixpence and v light but no recline, however still v good, travels well. don't know the other one though!

martini82 · 10/04/2010 21:20

i have the zapp but wish i had the zia cos when my ds is a sleep he looks so unconfortable, his head flops around cos you cant recline the seat

i'd say go for the zia

monkeyfacegrace · 10/04/2010 21:20

Ooh, so,how much do you want for the zapp, and do you want an immaculate p&t sport with doubles kit in red

I have the petite star and love it. I travel alot and its great to push with one hand while pulling the suitcase with the other. The hook to close it can be a bit tricky you need two hands to do it but apart from that its great. I'm 5ft 8" so it is a little on the small side but it is great for folding up and taking on a train. Would definately recommend it.

monkeyfacegrace · 10/04/2010 21:22

See I never recline the p&t, cuz my son rarely sleeps in the buggy, and when he does, he is in the back so doesnt recline much anyway iyswim?

The petite star reclines really well but doesn't sit upright so great. Plus you can get a fair bit in the basket underneath.

monkeyfacegrace · 10/04/2010 21:24

So Zia it may be. Im 5'8" too and dont want to stoop too much, but if it works for you!

Bugger - is on ebay with a bid on already! But would have done a swap if you were interested! Haven't seen the zia am off for a nosey!

Doodleydoo · 10/04/2010 21:32

some really good deals on the zia! Have been looking and can get some great online deals!

tooearlytobeup · 10/04/2010 21:37

I had the Zia for my daughter at about the same age. It was great, apart from the fact that the buckle on the harness was very very easy for her to open. After 2 weeks of her letting herself out all the time I had to get rid of it as I was spending all my time chasing her. I'm sure it would be fantastic for a more obedient child though! This was the only one we have ever had a problem with. She could not open the harness on any carseat, or any other pushchair we tried.

AvadaKedavra · 10/04/2010 21:37

am 5ft 6 and a ZIa handles are too low to be comfy for me. Suggest you try one out first.

monkeyfacegrace · 10/04/2010 21:38

Yeah, I can get a zia online for £60- or cheaper on ebay.
Looks like mine might be worth between 2-300 though!!

So a profit for you then! Brilliant! Just think about me trying to get one...........

jocie · 11/04/2010 14:40

have you seen the ladybird one thats like the zapp and zia? Its called the Ladybird Bubble and is like the zia in that it reclines but has higher handles and is supposed to be a bit studier(am thinking about 1 for myself but haven't seen it in the flesh yet)

KReynold · 14/04/2010 11:44

Defiantly the Zia. I have owned both (Zapp for my 1st born, Zia for my 2nd)

The Zapp although sturdy, it was heavier, very hard to fold, and the suspension was awful. My son never looked comfortable in it.

On the other hand i've barely had any issues with the Zia. It is small and light, fold ups easily and far easier to use in general. I also think you get a better colour choice with the Zia. (my dogtooth one is great)

So although the products are similar without a shadow of doubt i would go for the Zia. Hope this helps.

Def the zia, brilliant and only getting a new one as another baby due - cannot see the point of the zap as no recline

mummc2 · 14/04/2010 22:10
