Any reviews on the maclaren xlr

I've always used the XT I've had one for 5.5 years, and the brake has finally given up. I was going to buy another one, but the new XT seat is much more padded, and it seems too small for ds. He's a big 2.9 years, and want something he'll still fit in until he's 3/4.
Anyone had/got one do you think it will be any good?

I saw a child of around 5 in one on holiday and he seemed to have plenty of room.
I think it's a bit controversial to say it but Maclaren have made it with bigger and older children in mind because people are pushing their kids to school in buggies these days, apparently special needs buggies were doing a roaring trade.
