Could you cope with a Loola/windoo carrycot for 8 weeks ?

I've accidently sent somebody both my chassis' for the bebe confort stuff I have, which means I've lost £100 I was planning to put towards a Bee for the first 6 months & holiday.
So now I'm stuck with the carrycot and Loola chassis are on ebay for £30, am wondering if my memory serves me correctly and they really are that bad ? DD was at least 12 months when I bought it and sold it within a week. This time would be for a newborn and used mainly with carrycot and maxi cosy.
