Hi ladies. any advice on wether that's a good price or not. expecting second baby in May and Ds will be 21 months. We don't have much money but would like to buy a Phil n Ted cos we,ve heard they're good for handling.Had a wee scout about online and was a bit confused by all the different models and prices of the P+T double buggies and can't see a price for the E3 new?!! Thing is, lady I know wants £260.00 for hers second hand and I came across a website that sells a P+T Classic Double for £289.00 brand new. Is the classic much about the same as the E3?? Would I be better off with that one. Anybody with a bit of advice for a rather confused and indecisive preggie brained woman . I'd appreciate it v much. Thanks

I don't know, but that seems expensive, depending on the kind of nick its in.

No,

you can get a sport (newer vesion) for £200-£250 used.
an E3 should be around £150/180 used.

IIRC the E3 is the older model, So unless the one your looking at is in amazingly good condition I wouldn't expect to pay that much for it, especially when I bought my Second hand Phil and Teds SPORT (a newer model)with all the acessories for just £220. its in FAB condition still got the bobbles on the tires and came with double seat, raincover, orriginal boxes and coocoon. mine can only have been used a handful of times by the previous owner. I'd shop around if I were you. btw think the classic double is a side by side version the E3 and its replacement the Sport are tandem style doubles.

thanks girls, I kinda thought it was a bit pricey and we're really not that flush with cash so we are trying to cut corners but at least have a pram that works for us.Thanks disenchanted3 we're in Glasgow and are looking for a double buggy but not a side by side. I liked the P+T but we are open to suggestion and recommendations. Dunno maybe I should try and haggle her down a bit in price but I,m rubbush at all that

Thanks ladies, found someone near Glasgow selling a sport for £250.00 or nearest offer. Thinks I,m gonna try for that and maybe offer a wee bit less to cover my petrol money to get there and back. Fingers crossed and wish me luck with the haggling x
