tiggergirl, what model is it? Volo, Quest etc? I need a lightweight buggy for a hefty 1 yr old, too.

izzybiz · 24/02/2010 19:47

I have just bought a Maclaren techno XT, I was going to get the XLR as it has a bigger seat but it was nearly £100 more!

Ds is a hefty boy too, but Ive seen 3-4 year olds sat in strollers so he should be fine!

Maclaren XLR Tiggergirl is referring too. they are no 'lightweight' buggy but a nice push with an older toddler in plus dc will have tons of space and comfort. V.nice tho i just sold mine for a quest!!

it xt techno i find it better for larger bigger babies

babyluck · 04/03/2010 22:06

What about the Petite Star ladies?

tostaky · 05/03/2010 22:35

The Xt techno (which i have) is not the best for big babies (i have a big 16 month old) - I would have thought that the XLR would be better as it is wider than the xt.

This is a great deal at the moment - have got one for DS 17mo - the M&P Pipi (Argos only I think) - reclines fully, leg support, comes with a raincover, nice bright colours, even has a zip pocket on the back of the hood. Folds small and easily and pushes well. Not sure what else to say about it! Happy to answer questions if anyone has any. A friend has got the pink one and that looks stunning in real life - much brighter than in the picture. The blue one is pretty much exactly as in the picture. They both look quite funky though.

Pink

Sorry forgot to say it's £40 (which is why it is such a good deal - rare to find a fully reclining umbrella fold with raincover for under about £70)
