Buagaboo buggy board

Hello, we've just bought the buggy board for our bee. It's great on the whole but the bit that makes it go up when the child steps off (and more importantly keeps the board folded up out of the way in theory) doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? What's the trick or does this bit just not work? How else can I stow the board out of the way? Thanks.

I have the Cameleon one and it is a toggle on an elastic cord that holds the board up. Is it the same?

Sorry just seen this now. Yes is the same one but the toggle doesn't really hold it in place and certainly doesn't make it go up automatically when toddler steps off. Does yours do that?

Don't think it's meant to go up automatically - you have to adjust the toggle when in or out of use. I just tighten the toggle and that draws the wheelie board up out the way when not using it. Then loosen the toggle again when toddler wants a ride. IYSWIM.

Ok thanks that's what we'll do (the instructions do suggest that it rises automatically but it clearly doesn't and I guess is not essential).

My toggle (cameleon) always makes it rise up automatically a little (so not dragging on ground) but not enough to tuck it away entirely.
