Any suggestions for a pushchair for first time confused mum?

Hi there,
I am very confused about pushchairs! There seems to be soooo many and can never find one that everybody seems to like.
My main requirements are:
*Sutiable from birth, I'm not bothered about it having a carry cot. Just so long as baby can lie flat and comfy on pushchair.
*Will last a long time so we don't have to get another one in a year
*Face both ways
*Good for tall people
Lightweight(ish)Easy to fold (and folds with seat unit on it)
*Around £200/250 price range
Does anybody know of a magical pushchair that will satisfy these requirements?
So far i have seen the loola up, britax 4+, O baby apex and mammas and pappas sola...but they all seem to be not quite right.
Thankyou for any tips!

I am a first time mum. We bought a BabyJogger City Mini. It is fab. Lies flat. Folds with one hand. Lightweight. Reasonably small. Three wheeler. Can buy adapter to take a maxi cosi car seat. Love it and would highly recommend it - do a google search and you will find loads of others think the same!

Only thing it won't do is face you. Guess that depends on how often you are out and about and want to talk to your baby. Once they are old enough to be able to appreciate you talking, they are also old enough to be quite happy nosying around facing away from you!

The new Mamas and Papas Sola looks good and looks although it will covers all of your criteria!

Yes what was wrong with sola as I have just sent my expectant sil the details of it?

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/01/2010 21:15

I also told them about the M&P Herbie and Skate which have offers on making them fit your budget.

I was going to recommend the Sola too. I have just ordered one for my DD after having a good play with one. She is 10mo but I would have had it from birth if it had been available then.

I really liked the sola..only thing was that i haven't seen it in real life and cant find any info on how it folds. I think you may have to take seat off. Its so pretty though!
Thanks Anna i will do a wee search

oh, and if anyone is interested in the sola you can get it for £250 with carrycot included from very.co.uk. Its £250 just for the pushchair from mammas and pappas and £100 for carrycot.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/01/2010 21:34

Think M&P site said 107 which isn't particularly high.
