Qn about Mountain Buggy Double Urban and Kiddy Board

hi there

we have recently got a Mountain Buggy Double Urban (with adjustable handle bars) and lascal Kiddy Board to transport 3 children. The problem is the Kiddy Board slides along the bottom bar of the buggy so my 3 year old ends up sliding from side to side. i have tightened the screw up but the ultimate problem seems to be that the bar of the buggy is too narrow for the kiddy board attachment. is this normal?

does anyone know whether the new Maxi buggy board fits the double urban any better?

thanks

hi, i have two kiddyboards on my mountain buggy urban and they fit tightly. only thing i can think of is that the attachment is not slided in properly. which version do you have? i have three of the older version like this cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lascal-Kiddy-Board_W0QQitemZ150408258596QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Baby_Pushchair_Accessor iespartsET?hash=item230507e424 not many newer ones around as they didnt make it for long.

hi mel, this is the one we bought from ebay...

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320472394622&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:I T

not sure whether it is a new or old one? very frustrating that it doesnt fit!

why not just put something round the bar and then attach the kiddyboard?

a thick piece of cardboard, or some lagging?

I have a chicky one as well (my son has five chickens, so loves it) anyway it should fit tightly. try taking the atachment to bits, i mean just fully undo the screw so it should be in two bits. check the person who sold it to you didnt put it together wrong. the smaller bit should slide along the bigger bit

great. thanks. will try both of those suggestions!
