Can anyone suggest a good buggy/pram for people 6 foot and over? Thanks.

Maclaren Techno XT- extendable handles.

Ditto the Maclaren Techno XT. I am 5ft10 and my DH is 6ft3 - both of us can use it without stooping.
I also recommend the Quinny Buzz, which we use when going for country walks.

Thanks, I'm actually asking on behalf of a friend who says she's also after one with the baby facing her and a big basket underneath. Too much to ask? Do these ones have this too. Thanks a lot for recommendations I will pass them on.

The Britax vigour is good too.

JasHook · 18/01/2010 09:41

Thanks for starting this. Most of my family are over 6' or at least 6'.

I've heard the Britax Vigour pushchairs can convert to forward and rear-facing and have handle height adjustable to 107cm - does anyone else know if these are good for tall people?

Hello, I am 5' 4" and my husband is 6' 3", we wanted a buggy with adjustable height to suit us both plus the option to have it forward or rear facing. After HOURS of painstaking research we have ended up getting the Mothercare Mychoice here.

Their Spin model here would have worked for us too but that was new out and we managed to get the My3 second hand for £££s less!!!

Hope this helps your friend

We have a Brio Go that my husband, dad etc can push with no problem (all over 6'2").

The handlebar is far away from the pram when it is high up so they don't kick the wheels when walking either!

Also we got ours with carrycot (for up to 4 m), and the chair can face either direction. Also got the carseat. The basket underneath is very roomy as well. HTH!

This is great. Yes, that was another problem with the ones she tried, she ended up kicking the breaks, etc.

Bugaboo Cameleon

chopstheduck · 18/01/2010 10:22

I foudn three wheelers were gone. jane do some nice ones, and I had an emmaljunga that was adjustable, and faced both ways which was lovely.

I'd go with the bugaboo cameleon too- I'm 6' and have had a host of pushchairs, and have got rid of all in favour of the bugaboo -it's the only one I've found that I can really stride out with, and that can face me
